What an absolute delight this sweater is. Neither stuffy-thick nor flimsy, it’s perfect for those winter mornings out and about. I love hand-me-downs. Especially from people who are healthier than me. Saves me big bucks at high-street retail stores. Also, I’m sartorially challenged when it comes to checking out oversized carted items… I just CAN’T.
Resultant, I dig into the mother’s and the boyfriend’s closet. The former all the time. The latter sparingly.
With the beau and I getting married in a couple of days [eep!], mother India unearthed a suitcase full of good-looking clothes. While she refused to let me dig out most, I just couldn’t get this particular lurex sweater go back into the loft.
Thankfully, Calcutta still has it’s chill game strong and I tactfully styled my #OOTD around it.
What an absolute delight this sweater is. Neither stuffy-thick nor flimsy, it’s perfect for those winter mornings out and about. I debated between letting the sleeves be, in all it’s oversized glory. However, practicality demanded it cuffed up.
I stuck to the colour family. Since the sweater was the colour marsala [images here are shot on an iPhone 6s camera, and TBH doesn’t do justice to the actual shade] I stuck to these oxblood lace-up boy shoes and popped my lip with a smear of MAC Diva. Much unlike my current view of the world [har!], my accessory cupboard doesn’t have rose-tinted shades so I stuck to oversized and chose a yellow one instead. #FollowTheVibe
Glad I managed to slip on an outfit that excited me after days, what with half my life packed into boxes pending shifting.
A moment of glory for them shoes I have on. I bought them a week ago and it’s safe to say I’ve been wearing this darling leather pair everywhere.
Blogging, meanwhile, discontinues till after the wedding. The hullaballoo demands my full fledged attention. So see you on the other side with some crazy looks- churas included!
Till then, #WerkItGirl
